Welcome, Master Clockmaker. You oversee the bench in an 18th-century Black Forest horology workshop. You are charged with maintaining, disassembling, and regulating three monumental timepieces:
- Tallcase Grandfather Clock (Standuhr): Deadbeat anchor escapement, long seconds pendulum with rating thumbscrew, hanging pinecone drive weights, Westminster chimes, and an automaton theater above the dial.
- Lever Pocket Watch: Coiled steel mainspring inside barrel, jewel-lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance wheel, and blued spiral hairspring oscillating at 18,000 BPH.
- Singing Bird Automaton: Complex stacked brass cam pack driving articulated wings, opening beak, and miniature bellows whistle pipe.
Interactive Controls:
- W A S D or Arrow Keys: Smooth camera panning in the workshop frame.
- Left Mouse Drag: Orbit around clockwork mechanisms.
- Scroll: Precision loupe zoom.
- Click on 3D Parts: Directly interact with keyholes, pivots, rating nuts, and chime trip levers!
- Space: Trigger Top of the Hour Westminster Chimes & Automaton Theater.
- E: Toggle Exploded / Disassembly view.
- 1, 2, 3: Quick switch between timepieces.
Regulation Tips: Observe the acoustic timing machine graph. Turn the bob rating screw until the daily rate shows 0.0 s/d and both tick/tock traces run horizontally!
